English riding lessons with a difference conveniently located near Meridian, ID . 

Kaizen is Japanese for “continuous improvement” and that is our philosophy for a friendly facility where all students are welcome regardless of how much or how little experience they have. 

We encourage everyone to continually improve their all round horsemanship at their own pace.

Kaizen Farm has 15 experienced horses and ponies and we will find the right match for each student’s knowledge and comfort zone.  From there we develop a plan for individual progression – whether it is to go trail riding, learning to jump, overcoming lost nerve, improving dressage, competing or just enjoying being around horses. 

Our instructors have over 50 years combined experience of teaching, riding and competition with the United States Dressage Federation, United States Eventing Association, British Horse Society, Pony Club and 4H.  Our guiding principles come from classical and natural horsemanship and we believe in fun, safety and structured progression - not pressurized quick fixes.

We accept children aged 5 and older for private or group lessons.  Younger than 5 are offered lead line lessons by special arrangement. 

Teenagers and adults are always especially welcome – from total beginner to experienced.

Kaizen Farm is located on 26 acres with one large 300’x150’ sand outdoor arena, one smaller 60’x60’ sand arena which is easier on beginning riders and an introductory cross country course on grass.  We have show jumps, dressage markers and games equipment to allow us to offer a full and varied English riding program.
